Ryan at LaGuardia

One of Ryan’s friends works at LaGuardia in New York. Since he was scheduled to be there one day on his last trip, he asked this friend if he could take some photos of the plane as they left. I don’t know how many people have this opportunity to have pictures like these taken, especially at one of the busiest airports in the world. They’re completely awesome in every way and to top that off, Ryan was actually flying the plane at the time. Since he sits in the right seat, it’s neat that the photos were taken from that side. Definitely something special to have!

  1. Very cool, Melissa. Of course, my husband has flown right seat of N915XJ many many times. We’re connected through our husbands’ butts! hahaha ;-)

  2. I think Ryan said he was in the grass between the runways. I guess he had his car out there driving around! I wish I could do something like that!

  3. Melissa,

It was indeed a pleasure to get to see Ryan fly through and to have the chance to snap a few pictures of him doing what he loves to do. My only regret is the cloud cover wasn’t very supportive of picture taking, making some of the shots a little “grey” despite my efforts in post-processing, but none the less, he seems excited to have them! I hope you guys are doing well, I told Ryan I would swing by and say hello next time I was headed that direction.

  4. Austin, we definitely are excited to have these pictures. I’m so glad you were able to do something like that for him. Grey or not, they still look awesome and we’re happy to have a few of them hanging on our walls!
