Random Flying
This is just a collection of random pictures from the flying around I did in the summer of 2007 as well as some photos from my time in Oshkosh including photos from the journey up there to different airplanes/things that I saw while there. I feel odd having these on here, as they were taken while I was with a now ex-boyfriend, but I like them so they’ll stay.

N903XJ
While in training at Mesaba Airlines, I was fortunate enough to get close to one of their brand new CRJ900s. This one was having work done on the engine, but still looked awesome nonetheless. Who would have thought that just a few months later, I’d meet my husband who’d end up flying one of these.

While working at the airport one evening, I heard a Southwest 737 was coming in to stay overnight for a charter flight the following morning. It was already late by the time I was done with my shift, but I had to hang around to see my favorite airplane! I never would have expected to see such a large airplane land at my tiny airport and I was glad the guys at the FBO gave me the chance to see this bird up close!

Castle Island, Boston, Mass.
Castle Island is located directly south of Logan Airport in Boston. It’s a nice place to spend the day walking around and an awesome place to watch airplanes landing. I had to crop most of these because we don’t have a nice telephoto lens to get the airplanes up close. I don’t think these pictures turned out too bad for what we were working with, though.
